Sant’Anna School has been ranked in the top 150 of the Times Higher Education (THE) World Rankings for Computer Science and in the top 125 for Engineering and Technology. These two rankings reaffirm that Sant’Anna School represents a top educational experience in the world (for the third year in a row, Sant’Anna has consistently ranked among the world's top 200 universities and placed 153rd in the global rankings) and the best in Italy. Sant’Anna School has improved in terms of its teaching and research activities and achieved a greater citation impact score.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings’ table for sciences and technology employs the same rigorous and balanced range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual field.

Over the past year, Sant’Anna School has been ranked in the top 200 (rank range: 167-200) of the THE World Rankings for Social Sciences; it raised in the Business and Economics (rank range: 101-125), and placed 1st in Italy for Life Sciences (rank range: 151-175 globally).
