ILA Committee on Human Rights in Times of Emergency

The ILA Committee on Human Rights in Times of Emergency will hold its 2019 inter-sessional meeting in Pisa. The meeting has a twofold aim: to provide the opportunity for focused and interactive discussion of pre-circulated papers, and to agree on the methodology, format, and themes of the Committee’s interim report which will be presented at the 2020 ILA meeting in Kyoto.

The papers for intersessional meeting will be circulated in advance and all participants will read them. Each paper will be summarised by their author(s) in 10 minutes, and 20 minutes will be dedicated to questions, comments and discussion of cross-cutting themes.
