World Water Day

March 22 is World Water Day - established in 1992 by the United Nations, after the Rio conference. The 2023 theme is accelerating change. An increasingly urgent change to counter the global water and sanitation crisis.
World Water Day

In 2015, the world committed to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 as part of Agenda 2030, the pledge that everyone would manage water and sanitation safely by 2030.

There are billions of people and countless schools, businesses, health centers and factories lack the clean water and sanitation they need. To accelerate change, Scuola Sant'Anna organizes and promotes events and awareness campaigns to help everyone achieve the goals set by 2030.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" is the slogan for 2023.
