The project aims at building a platform based on Federated Learning and Continual Learning to help big European metallurgy industries unlock the full potential of Artificial Intelligence to support the needed transformations to create high-quality, competitive, efficient and green production processes. ALCHIMIA will find an optimal mix to reduce energy consumption, emissions and waste generation of the steelmaking process, while also guaranteeing to obtain high-quality products. SSSA develops the project with a inter-institute cooperation (TeCIP Institute and IdM).
