IUVO is a wearable robotics company specialized in the development, distribution, and deployment support of industrial and medical exoskeletons, with a strong track record in biomechanics-driven innovation. Founded in 2015 as a spin-off of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, IUVO became the R&D partner of the COMAU–Össur joint venture in 2017, leading the development of the MATE exoskeleton family, including MATE-XT (2020), MATE-XB (2023) and MATE-XT GO (2026). Today, IUVO distributes the MATE products and provides product management, marketing, sales support, and educational services for COMAU’s exoskeleton business.

In 2025, IUVO embarked on a strategic transformation toward the design and launch of its own proprietary wellness product line. Building on a strong intellectual property portfolio, experienced leadership, and validated technologies from industrial and medical applications, IUVO is developing a scalable wearable robotics platform for long-term value creation.

With this strategic approach, IUVO targets the wellness market segment through assistive and resistive wearable robotics solutions aimed at enhancing movement quality, personal well-being, and training effectiveness.
