Wearable Robotics has developed “ALEX RS,” a robot with a bilateral configuration for the motor rehabilitation of post-stroke patients, and has created a prototype lower-limb exoskeleton for elderly and disabled individuals.
ALEX RS is unique in the international market thanks to its bilateral configuration, which simultaneously rehabilitates both arms and their coordination, ensuring a workspace exceeding 92% compared to that of a healthy individual. It is also integrated with a Virtual Reality system that facilitates the patient’s cognitive recovery.
In the industrial sector, Wearable Robotics has developed prototype exoskeletons for manual material handling to support able-bodied workers.
