Bio
I am a researcher specializing in the intersection of law and politics. I completed a Bachelor of Law at Tbilisi State University in 2018. As a full scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), I obtained a Master’s degree in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Passau in 2024, graduating with honors. Since 2017, I have held various positions — including research assistant, analyst, invited expert, and project coordinator — in leading non-governmental organizations in Georgia. Throughout my work, I have been extensively engaged with marginalized and excluded communities, as well as grassroots activists, which has further shaped my academic aspirations. My professional experience and academic interests encompass the theories of law and the state, the politics of crime and punishment, digital governance and power, and human rights. I am the author of numerous research papers, policy analyses, articles, and publications.
Research
I am a PhD candidate at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, enrolled in the program “Human Rights, Global Politics, and Sustainability: Legal and Philosophical Perspectives.” My PhD project explores the subject of digital authoritarianism, its various dimensions, and implications for human rights.
