Number of positions available 

No. 10 positions with Scholarship, of which:


- no. 2 positions with a scholarship funded by the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (of which 1 position is reserved for candidates who obtained their qualification at a foreign University);
- no. 1 position with scholarship funded by the Department of Excellence in the Social Sciences class (L’EMbeDS);
- no. 1 position with scholarship funded by the European Union –NextGenerationEU, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan
(PNRR), Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 4.1, in compliance with Ministerial Decree n. 118/2023, and focusing on the areas of
interest of the PNRR:
• Green transition
• Digital transformation
• Smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth
• Social and territorial cohesion
• Health and economic, social and institutional resilience
• Policies for new generations, women, children, and young people
- no. 1 position with scholarship funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan
(PNRR), Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 4.1, in compliance with Ministerial Decree n. 118/2023, focusing on “Public Administration” and especially aiming at one of the following:
• Enhancing new organizational skills to interpret and reinterpret the ongoing and rapid change of public administrations as complex systems, in the face of the challenges posed by the pursuit of policy objectives in the areas of innovation, sustainability and health;
• Strengthening administrative capacity in relation to the formulation and design of public policies, both by developing diagnostic capacity and by assuming responsibility for coordinating the policy cycle concerning issues related to innovation, sustainability and health;
• Supporting institutional design including the testing of innovative tools of different governance models from a comparative perspective between policy areas, between European, state and sub-state levels of government and between national cases in relation to the objectives of access to innovation, environmental and social sustainability and health protection pathways.
- no. 1 position with scholarship funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 3.3, in compliance with Ministerial Decree n. 117/2023 – “Introduction of innovative doctorates that respond to the innovation needs of businesses and promote the recruitment of researchers from businesses,” co-funded by Certiquality Srl and focusing on "Management and Measurement Models for Decision Support in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies."
- no. 4 positions with scholarship within the research project PE9 GRINS – Growing Resilient, INclusive and Sustainable (CUP J53C22003140001), funded by European Union-NextGenerationEU, in the framework of PNRR, Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.3.
An additional scholarship may become available as part of the research project "SoBigData.it: Strengthening the Italian RI for Social Mining and Big Data Analytics - SoBigData.it" (CUP B53C22001760006), funded by European Union-NextGenerationEU, in the framework of PNRR, Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 3.1.
