Vera Benedetto
Bio
Vera Benedetto, PhD in Health Science, Technology and Management and MSc in Innovation Management, is a post-doc research fellow at the School’s Interdisciplinary Research Center for Health Science. Her research focuses on healthcare management, with a particular attention on environmental sustainability and equity in healthcare, and she leads projects in these areas. She was a visiting PhD student at the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care at the University of Toronto.
Research
Her research activity focuses on healthcare management, with particular attention to environmental sustainability in healthcare systems and its integration into both planning processes and performance evaluation systems. She has conducted research periods at the University of Toronto, particularly at the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, where she investigated approaches to implementing environmental sustainability measures within healthcare systems.
