The initiative is organized by the Library and the Ecosystems and Public Engagement Unit and is designed to encourage a shared reflection on how kindness can become a common attitude, capable of opening new perspectives in personal and professional life, as well as in research.
An afternoon dedicated to exploring the value of kindness as a bridge between research, knowledge, and human relationships.
The Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies invites the academic community and the public to take part in the event “With Every Kindness”, a moment of dialogue and connection to conclude the academic year together through listening, empathy, and conversation.
The event will be introduced by Francesca Biondi Dal Monte, faculty member at the Sant’Anna School, and will feature Gaia Contu with the performance “Will Kindness Save the Robots?”: a work that blends theatre, science, and philosophy to explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and human sensitivity, between algorithms and emotions.
At the end of the performance, a convivial moment with Christmas pastries will offer an opportunity to spend time together and exchange holiday greetings.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Lions Club Livorno Host, part of the funds used to purchase the Christmas pastries served during the event will contribute to the donation of a spirometer to the Pediatrics Department of the Livorno Hospital.
