Welcome Day – Sant’Anna School’s greeting to its Undergraduate Students

The Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies welcomes its new students with a day dedicated to orientation and getting to know the university community.
The morning will be devoted to arrival and settling into the colleges, with an introduction by the Vice-Rector for the College, the Administration working group, and an overview of the available services.
In the afternoon, starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Aula Magna, institutional greetings will be delivered by the School’s leadership and student representatives.
This will be followed by a lecture by Francesca Pasinelli, Member of the School’s Board of Directors and CEO of the Telethon Foundation, entitled “Financing research to meet society’s needs.”
The orientation will continue with a rich program of activities:
Thursday, October 2 | Extraordinary Class Council, presentation of the academic offering and meeting with tutors, followed by an informal dinner.
Friday, October 3 | Community lunch, presentation of Institutes and Interdisciplinary Centers, meeting with student representatives, and a guided tour of Piazza dei Miracoli.
Saturday, October 4 | Barbecue at the School.
Tuesday, October 7 | Presentation of Student Secretariat services and practical session on how to submit the study plan.
Wednesday, October 8 | Focus on rights, well-being, and safety: presentation of support services, world café, and safety training course.
