Erasmus + International credit Extra UE Mobility

Erasmus

Since 2015, the Erasmus+ Program has included the possibility of providing scholarships to support periods of mobility to and from other Continents (non-European countries) through the Action called International Credit Mobility - ICM.

Under the 2021-27 seven-year period, the Action, identified as KA171, will be reactivated from 2022 under the name of International Mobility involving non-European countries not associated with the program.

From Call 2022 there are therefore two types of EXTRA-EU mobility:

  • International outbound mobility supported by domestic policy funds (KA131) to countries around the world, exclusively outbound for all cycles and up to 20% of the grant awarded to the project (Regions 1 to 14).

  • International outbound and incoming mobility supported by external policy funds (KA171) to and from countries around the world, except for Regions 13 and 14, with cycle restrictions linked to certain countries.
