The 2016-2017 a.y. “Italian Wine and Global Wine Market” 23 master’s students completed their program and attended the graduation ceremony held in February at Sant’Anna School aula magna, Pisa.

As Graduate Wine Ambassadors from the master’s program in “Italian Wine and Global Wine Market” uniquely designed by Sant'Anna School, the University of Pisa, the University for Foreigners of Siena and AIS, the Italian Association of Sommeliers, these highly skilled and talented graduates were prepared for professional careers in wine industry and management. According to the Sant’Anna’s most recent employment rate, over 60 percent of master’s program “Italian Wine and Global Wine Market”alumni were employed.

This year marked the third anniversary of the program. Through this course, the prospective ambassadors will turn their enthusiasm for wine into globally recognized qualifications. The “Italian Wine and Global Wine Market” master program provides an opportunity for students to explore the possibility of pursuing dedication as a career. As the result of collaborations between winemakers and industry-leading instructors, the program features wine education and events offering a systematic approach to wine tasting and assessment of quality.
