FameLab 2023: the local selections for the national final will be held in Pisa, Friday 19 May. In the jury Marco Frey, Vice Rector of the Third Mission and Technology Transfer of the Sant’Anna School

Pisa is one of the 12 Italian cities that will host FameLab, the competition dedicated to young researchers and university students. The Scuola Normale Superiore will host the pre-selection which will take place on the morning of 19 May. While the final selection will take place in the afternoon at EGO European Gravitational Observatory.
Scuola Sant'Anna is one of the organizers of the local edition together with Scuola Normale Superiore, Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare – Sezione di Pisa, Università di Pisa, European Gravitational Observatory e INGV.
Marco Frey, Vice-Rector for the Third Mission and Technology Transfer and professor of Economics and Business Management who will be part of the jury for the local selection, while the organizing committee includes Marco Fontana, professor of Mechanical Engineering and Cristiana Neri, head of the U.O. School Innovation Ecosystem.
The competition involves the carrying out of pre-selections and local selections in 12 Italian cities. The 24 finalists, 2 for each city, will participate in the Perugia Masterclass in June, a workshop dedicated to scientific communication, and will access the National final in September. The winner of the National Final will be able to challenge winners from all over the world in the International Final which will take place in November 2023.
