Sabina Nuti, full professor of Economics and Business Management at the Institute of Management of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, took part in the meeting ‘How to save the national health service’, held at the Trento Economy Festival (May 22-25, 2025). This was a useful debate for understanding the state of health of our National Health Service, including the need for investment, reorganization of services, and greater assistance throughout the country.

Innovating organization and skills

The topic of health is at the heart of the research activities of Sabina Nuti, a leading figure in the MeS (Management and Health) Laboratory at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. In her speech, Nuti emphasized the need to ‘govern’ prevention with projects that are close to citizens, capable of revitalizing local healthcare, enhancing the professional role of nurses with cutting-edge study and training programs, and conducting research on organizational models to understand which examples are virtuous and which are lacking.
