The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies supports the appeals of the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), the Network of Italian Universities for Peace and the Network Scholars at Risk (SAR), and strongly condemns the serious events that have been upsetting Iran in recent weeks, which began after the arrest and death of Mahsa (Jhina) Amini.
The School expresses its full solidarity with the Iranian students in our community and with all the people in Iran who are bravely risking their lives to demand full respect for human rights.
To reiterate its support and to express solidarity with the Iranian citizens, the Sant'Anna School also promoted and hosted an interdisciplinary seminar to explore the reasons for their protests.
