New Board of Directors appointed for the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa

The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa announces the composition of its new Board of Directors, the governing and management body responsible for financial, economic, asset, and personnel planning.
The six members of the new Board of Directors are as follows:
Nicola Vitiello, Rector of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, acting as Chairman.
Three external members, chosen by the Academic Senate on the recommendation of the Rector:
Roberto Garofoli, Section President of the Council of State;
Francesca Pasinelli, Member of the Board of Directors of the Telethon Foundation;
Paolo Rametta, Coordinating Director of the Affairs Service of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
A representative of the teaching staff of the Sant'Anna School:
David Natali, full professor of Political Science.
A representative of the honor students of the Sant'Anna School:
Giulia Orlando, honor student in the Medical Sciences sector (in office since March 2025).
The Board of Directors will remain in office for the next three years with the main objective of ensuring the economic and financial sustainability of the Sant'Anna School's activities.

It is a diverse, qualified group, capable of combining strategic vision and a sense of responsibility, which are fundamental elements for facing the challenges that await us. I am confident that these appointments will help Sant'Anna School establish objectives, priorities, and paths to be taken in the present and in the immediate future," said Rector Nicola Vitiello.
