EELISA – European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance – is organizing its first Ph.D. Symposium and Doctoral Schools Meeting, an event dedicated to doctoral students from the alliance's partner universities. The event will take place in Budapest on November 28 and 29, 2025, and represents an opportunity to build relationships, share experiences, and imagine new forms of collaboration in doctoral training at the European level. The Symposium is not a competition, but a valuable opportunity to explore topics such as publication strategies, funding opportunities, and the challenges of the doctoral path, while developing academic and professional skills.

The initiative is aimed at doctoral students from all disciplines and at all stages of their studies, offering them the opportunity to present their research, receive qualified feedback, expand their network, and learn about the opportunities offered by EELISA, including in terms of mobility and interdisciplinary collaboration. The aim is to create a space for dialogue on common practices in the field of doctoral training, with a view to the future and the possibility of joint doctoral programs between partner universities.

Among the main topics to be addressed during the Symposium are digital transformation and artificial intelligence, sustainability and renewable energy, regional development, and mobility. However, the program remains open to other topics and perspectives, with a view to broad and multidisciplinary participation.

Registration is open until Monday, September 22, via this link: https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=q0g1anB1cUKRqFjaAGlwKfusagLmcsVLkfpajutoO_RUOEdIQUlUUFhEVzVMQVY3UlFUNDIwN1pSUC4u&route=shorturl
