Master’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery sciences

The University of Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna have activated the joint Master’s Degree in "Nursing and Midwifery Sciences", within the LM/SNT-1 class Nursing and Midwifery Sciences.
Admission to the course will be based on an assessment aimed at ascertaining the skills and aptitudes of the candidates.
The professional figure to be trained will be able to take into account, in the planning and management of health personnel, both the needs of the community and the development of new methods of work organization, technological and information technology innovation, planning and organization of pedagogical-training interventions as well as the homogenization of operational standards to those of the European Union. The graduate and master’s degree will be characterized by a high mastery of the methodologies and contents inherent in economic science and health management techniques and procedures to ensure an integrated approach to organizational problems and management of health professions. The methodological knowledge acquired will also enable us to intervene in the training and research processes peculiar to these fields.
Within the University of Pisa, the necessary skills are provided by the School of Medicine.
Within the framework of the SSSA, the necessary skills are provided by teachers from the two academic classes of Social Sciences and Experimental Sciences.
Teaching will be carried out at the University and SSSA.
