The Sustainability Management Laboratory (SuM Lab) combines knowledge of business management and policy making with the principles of sustainability, through scientific research and empirical investigation in the following areas: Circular economy and natural capital (CENC); Energy and resource efficiency (ERE); Life Cycle Thinking (LCT); Corporate Social Responsibility and resilient communities (CSR); Environmental Management and Industrial Symbiosis (EMIS); Climate change and decarbonization (CLIMA).

This area works on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the private sector, and on the 2030 Agenda implementation in the public sector

innovative solutions to improve their environmental performances and in drafting cooperative and environmental models of governance in industrial districts and areas

This research area stems from the growing interest in climate change and decarbonization in private and public sectors
