The postgraduate course in “Clinical risk management and quality and safety improvement of healthcare services”, organized by the Management in Healthcare Lab. of the Institute of Management - Sant’Anna School in cooperation with the Tuscany Region Centre for Clinical Risk Management and Patient Safety, is entering its seventh year of teaching. Applications may be submitted up until Tuesday, October 25.

The course is aimed at professionals working in the fields of clinical risk management and patient safety, quality of care and assistance, accreditation, certification and quality assessment, at clinicians, hospital managers, administrators, and at those who wish to advance their expertise in the field of clinical risk.

Seven training modules are offered monthly in addition to a final workshop, to total 124 hours lessons. Modules 1-5 are presented to all participants; the last modules are divided into two paths: one focusing on clinical care (clinical risk management) and the second focusing on management (patient safety management). 30 is the maximum number of students allowed per class; 10 employees of the Tuscany Region – Department of Health will attend the training course. The selection is based on the assessment of qualifications, a psychological questionnaire and attitude measurement, general knowledge test and motivational interviewing. Tuition fee: € 2.300,00.
