Michele Emdin, professor of Cardiology, coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Health Science at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and director of the Cardiothoracic Department of the Monasterio Foundation, and Aldo Paolicchi, director of the Department of Translational Research at the University of Pisa, meet the participants of the IBMS-JO project at the Sant'Anna School. The programme, part of Erasmus+, aims to provide the necessary skills for Jordanian universities to set up a Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) course to be included in the curriculum of their medical faculties for fourth-year students.

The delegation is composed of a large group from Jordanian universities, consisting of students, researchers and medical professors. The delegation will take part in a seminar illustrating the teaching methodology for the medical sector and the important interrelations between the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisana and the Fondazione Toscana Gabriele Monasterio.
