THE - TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION YOUNG UNIVERSITY RANKINGS 2019: SANT’ANNA school has been ranked in the top 10 and takes the no. 7 in the world this year, jumping two places

The Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies has secured a spot as the No. 7 young university worldwide in the Times Higher Education 2019 Young University Rankings. Sant’Anna School has performed well in this year's Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings Top 200 and gained the tenth position for the “Citations per Faculty” indicator measuring the impact of research on the number of researchers.

Sant’Anna School (founded in 1987) has grown into the THE Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2019 for universities that are 50 years old or younger jumping 2 places to rank 7th in the world this year.

Times Higher Education rankings are based on stringent metrics. THE ranked more than 300 institutions from 60 different countries in this year’s Young University Rankings, which employ the same rigorous indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings — with young universities measured across their teaching, research, citations, international outlooks and industry outcomes. “We expect Young Universities to continue their accomplishments attained in 50 short years in education, research, innovation, economic development, and community engagement” said the THE analysts.
