Andrea Baldoni received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at University of Perugia in 2011 and 2013 respectively. He joined the BioRobotics Insitute as a young research fellow in October 2013. He is currently PhD candidate in BioRobotics at the BioRobotics Institue, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna with the Wearable Robotics laboratory. His main research interests are in the design and development of innovative, smart mechanical solutions for highly ergonomic human-robot physical interaction in the field of wearable robotics, where, since 2017 he is leading the mechanical team.
He co-authored several scientific papers and is inventor of several patents about new mechanisms and actuation solutions for wearable robots.
