Yaman Berker Kavasoglu

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Dirpolis Institute where I am affiliated with the project titled “Political Elites and Regime Change in the Middle East and North Africa“. My research agenda broadly centers around comparative autocratic regimes, political institutions, and regime change. In particular, I study the formation and consequences of elite coalitions in autocracies around the world. I received my Ph.D. in political science from the University of Gothenburg in 2022. My research has been published in Democratization, Electoral Studies, and Party Politics.
