The Master's on Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and Networks (PIXNET) opens the new call for 'Visiting Scholars 2020-22'. Scholarships of € 2000 per week are available. Applications must be submitted by the 3rd of February, 2021

The Master’s on Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and Networks (Pixnet), within the Erasmus+ Erasmus Mundus Programme, offers the opportunity to scholars/guest lecturers from EU and Third-Country higher-education institutions or research organizations to carry out a research/teaching period within the Master’s at one of its institutions. The Consortium is coordinated by the Institute of Communication, information and perception technologies of the Sant’Anna School and comprises Aston University (UK), Osaka University (JP), and Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (NL). The call for applications will be open until the 3rd February 2021.

Visiting scholars must have an outstanding academic and professional profile and their involvement will bring added value in terms of student-centred teaching/lecturing, research activities, Master’s thesis support, academic/professional networking, etc. Scholars will be recruited in order to strengthen links and support the Consortium’s institutional strategies for internationalisation. The aim is to promote the Erasmus+ programme and in particular the PIXNET programme as an opportunity to learn and develop photonics around the world.

The scholarships provides for € 2.000 per week, all-inclusive, for a visiting period that can vary according to the assigned premises. Both EU candidates and non-EU candidates are eligible to apply.
