Bio
Born in Livorno in 2002, I was admitted as Allievo Ordinario at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in 2020, where I pursued a five-year program in Political Science. During my master's, I was part of the joint degree program between Sant'Anna and the Scuola Normale Superiore, and completed a Master in Politics, Institutions and Market at the University of Florence. In 2025, I was admitted as a PhD Fellow in Management of Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare at Sant'Anna, with a position funded by L'EMbeDS.
My academic path has developed alongside a sustained firsthand engagement with policy and research institutions. In the policy field, I worked within the Task Force for the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, and contributed to the Tuscany Delegation to EU Institutions in Brussels, gaining direct exposure to the dynamics of regional advocacy and EU multi-level governance. In the research field, I worked as a research intern at Fondazione Monasterio, a leading research hospital, applying behavioral science to clinical governance and digital health, and at Percorsi di Secondo Welfare, a Milan-based research centre focused on welfare innovation, where I supported municipalities in the design and implementation of evidence-based local policies.
Alongside this, I served as representative of the Allievi Ordinari in the Academic Senate of Sant'Anna from 2023 to 2024, and I continue to contribute to MeMo - a Sant'Anna initiative that fosters equitable trajectories among potential first-generation students - as an organizer and mentor.
Ricerca
My research sits at the intersection of behavioral sciences and public sector governance, examining how choices are formed in complex organizational and institutional settings. I carry out my work within the Behavioural Insights Unit of the MeS Lab.
The current focus of my research is on decision-making processes in health and public administration settings, at the intersection of humans and artificial intelligence.
Broader interests include the digitalization of public services, public policy analysis and evidence-based policy design.
