Andrea Saba
Bio
Andrea Saba is Postdoctoral Fellow in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Law at the DIRPOLIS Institute of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Italy). Dr. Saba is also Adjunct Professor at the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Sassari (Italy). His research is investigating the rules and policies involved in the sustainable and digital transition of agricultural and food systems. The research plan, to date, has contributed to the development of knowledge mainly in three legal pathways at European and national level: (a) policies on digital innovation in agriculture, (b) the sustainability of agri-food production, and (c) adaptation to climate change.Until April 2019 Dr. Saba worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Agricultural Law at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) of the University of Bologna (Italy). Andrea Saba has been Visiting Researcher at the Australian Centre for Agricultural and Law – University of New England (Armidale, Australia), the Wageningen Economie Research - Wageningen UR (The Hague, Netherlands) and the Thünen Federal Research Institute for Rural Areas, Forestry and Fisheries (Braunschweig, Germany). Dr. Saba holds a PhD in Politics, Human Rights e Sustainability, curriculum in Agricultural Law, Environmental Law and Sustainable Development from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy.
