Andrea Tenucci

He graduated in Business Economics at the University of Pisa in 2003, and got a Ph.D. in Business Economics at the University of Pisa in 2007. He has been visiting at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and at Aarhus School of Business (Denmark). Research Fellow at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna since 2007, Assistant Professor since 2012, Associate Professor since 2019 and then Full professor since 2026. His main fields of research are cost accounting and management in servitizing contexts, strategic management accounting, performance measurement and management in private and public sector,  business reporting (such as Integrated reporting or ESG/sustainability report) and accounting history.

He further collaborates with the Cost Management Center of Tampere University (Finland).

Recent Research Projects:

•    Principal Investigator, PRIN (Projects of Relevant National Interest) – 2022 PNRR Call, project “The digital transformation of public services: a multistakeholder governance approach,”  2023 – 2026.
•    Participant in the project “FIT4MEDROB: Fit for Medical Robotics,” funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), 2022-2026.
•    Participant in the project “National Biodiversity Future Center,” funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), 2022-2026.
•    Project leader and coordinator of the Training-Action project funded by the SPORVIC Community Association, titled “The SUAP ecosystem: innovation in co-design,” 2023.
•    Head of research activities and scientific supervisor of the Action Plan with the Tuscany Region within the project “Dissemination of digital culture and skills for the improvement of digital public services and digital transformation,” 2023–2024.
•    Participant in the CIMA project “SDGs’ performance measurement and management systems (PMMS) for organizational investments,” funded by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), May 2022 – May 2023.
•    Scientific coordinator of the project “Regional Management Accounting,” involving regional healthcare organizations and the Tuscany Region, 2022–2026.
•    Project leader and coordinator of the Training-Action project funded by the SPORVIC Community Association, titled “Training-action program for SUAP managers and operators,” 2021.
