In 2016 she received the Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II. Her thesis work was carried out at Maastricht Brain Imaging Center, Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience of Maastricht University (the Netherlands), focusing on the analysis of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) data for discovering brain patterns in the sound categorisation process. In 2021 she got her PhD in BioRobotics at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, defending a thesis entitled “Innovative technologies for quantitative diagnosis in orthopaedics”. The PhD activity was focused on the development of smart medical devices for monitoring bone fracture healing and osteoarthrithis.

Her research activity is currently mainly focused on the development of methods and tecnologies for the standardization of ultrasound procedures.
