Bio

After completing my Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Pisa (2018), I went on to achieve a Ph.D. in Biorobotics (cum laude) in 2023. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Regenerative Technologies Lab, under the guidance of Prof. Leonardo Ricotti (https://www.regenerativelab.it/).

Ricerca

My research focuses on designing and developing biomaterials for tissue engineering and cutting-edge medical therapies. Specifically, I am dedicated to the development of both acellular and cell-laden biomaterials, aimed at facilitating the substitution and regeneration of osteoarticular tissues. Currently, I am actively contributing to the European Horizon 2020 ADMAIORA Project (ADvanced nanocomposite MAterIals fOr in situ treatment and ultRAsound-mediated management of osteoarthritis).
