Unveiling the Future: Insights on the Trends and Directions in Sustainability Branding
Seminar with Sandra Loureiro, ISCTE– Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, organized by the lnterdisciplinary Research Center on Sustainability and Climate, Sant'Anna School.
Abstract
Branding literature has evolved significantly over the past two decades, because of the shift from object (e.g. brands provide cues to influence product choices) to self-centered view (e.g. individuals use brands to express their desired self-identities). Sustainability and well-being are at the heart of this evolution, leading to more systematic research on ethical and pro-environmental consumption.
