Webinar: AgLaw Webinar: Carbon Farming and the EU certification Framework for Carbon Credits | 25 September 2025

The 𝗔𝗴𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 will host an international webinar on the recent Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming Regulation (CRCF – Regulation (EU) 2024/3012). 

This regulation establishes the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗨-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 for activities that remove CO₂ from the atmosphere and either temporarily store it in biogenic carbon pools or reduce soil emissions—a crucial step towards achieving the EU’s climate objectives. The event will feature contributions from 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗗𝗚 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗔, directly involved in shaping and strengthening the EU framework for carbon credits. The webinar will address the opportunities and challenges of implementing the new framework, with a focus on financing, scaling up carbon farming, and ensuring high-integrity carbon removals.
