Bio

Gianluca Gionfriddo is an Assistant Professor in Regenerative Innovation at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, where he earned his PhD in Innovation and Sustainability Management and a master’s degree in Innovation Management. He has been a visiting scholar at the IESE Business School in Barcelona and at the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña in Barcelona. He serves as a representative of the Institute of Management at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in the UNI/CT 016/GL 09 working group, which is focused on developing the new international standard ISO/WD 37011.3 – Purpose-Driven Organizations.

Ricerca

His research interests lie at the intersection between innovation management and business ethics. In particular, he investigates the role of purpose-driven companies in contemporary capitalism, exploring how the implementation of corporate purpose drives societal impact, business model innovation and corporate social responsibility. His works have been published in Regional Studies, Business Strategy and the Environment, Business Ethics: the Environment & Responsability, Journal of Management & Organization, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management and International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal.
