Ludovico Carofano

Ludovico Carofano is a PhD candidate in International Law, and his reasearch focuses on the international protection of cultural heritage in emergency scenarios. He graduated summa cum laude in Law at the University of Trento in 2023 with a thesis on the protection of cultural heritage in armed conflicts, after a research period at the Public Law Research Centre of the University of Lisbon. He later attended the International Master in Cultural Property Protection in Crisis Response of the University of Turin, where he focused on sustainable and conscious practices to facilitate the return of colonial looted cultural property.
