Dear Colleague,

I’m happy to welcome you to the registration page for the 10th Workshop of the IOBC-WPRS Working Group on ‘Landscape Management for Functional Biodiversity’. We have put together an existing programme based on the numerous abstracts we received.
The meeting will bring together the latest advances in research, development, and application of landscape management for functional biodiversity, exchanging information, coordinating common research, and identifying areas for future research. There will be a focus on comparing approaches to the management and monitoring of biodiversity in perennial (orchards) and herbaceous (arable or vegetable) cropping systems. Two parallel field trips will be organised to allow you to visit either the olive groves on the Pisa Mountain or the experimental research farm for agro-environmental research of the University of Pisa which is situated near the seaside and surrounded by pine tree and mixed woodland. Biodiversity sampling methods will be demonstrated and discussed in relation to the local landscape context

On behalf of the Organising Committee,
Camilla Moonen
