Visit the Institute
In response to Coronavirus emergency, the visits in April and May are suspended.
Visiting our Institute is the best way to get to know us: through a presentation and a guided tour across our labs you will have the chance to get closer to our activities and to talk with our researchers. The visits are reserved for schools. You can choose to visit between two different locations of the Institute: the headquarter of the Institute and Research Centre on Sea Technologies and Marine Robotics.
The headquarter, located in Pontedera, will be open on the following dates:
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 13 (Sold out); THURSDAY MARCH 12 (Sold out); THURSDAY APRIL 2 (Sold out); THURSDAY MAY 7 (Sold out); THURSDAY MAY 21 (Sold out); THURSDAY OCTOBER 8.
The visits will take place in two-time slots: from 10.00 to 11.30 and from 11.30 to 13.00. Each visit lasts about 1h 1/2, starting with a short introduction followed by a lab tour. Visitors are divided into small groups of 15 pax each.
Fill out the request form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
The machine shop can be visited too, upon specific request so submit with the reservation form.
The Research Centre on Sea Technologies and Marine Robotics, based in Livorno, will be open during two events scheduled (without reservation) on FRIDAY MAY 22 (Livorno Saint patron's Day), 11 am-1 pm and 3 pm-5 pm, and the last Friday of the month of September, for the Researchers' Night, from 5 pm.
Each visit will last 30'.
