NHP-3N Laboratory - Nonhuman Primate Neurophysiology, Neuroethology and Neuroanatomy
Joint Lab with University of Parma

The laboratory is based on the close relationship between neuroscientists and neuroengineers devoted to understanding the neural underpinnings of movement control in healthy and pathological conditions. The laboratory is the result of the collaboration between the Translational Neural Engineering Area and the Laboratory of Neuroethology of Non-Human Primates of the University of Parma.
Current research activities include: study of cortical dynamics underlying natural and spontaneous movements and study of subcortical dysfunctions associated with motor symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease
